Bath teas area mystery to most. The most effective way to soak in your tea is to prepare a large pot on your stove and let your tea filled bag simmer until your pot begins take on the color and scent of the tea. Pour this into your bath and soak it all in. You can also put the bath tea directly into the bath tub. You will not see much of a physical change to your bath water but don't worry..you are still getting the benefits of the herbal combination. Remember to soak for at least 20 minutes to allow your body to absorb the nutrients. You can use the herbs alone or with our sea salts or our bath milk. Sometimes I indulge and put in all three!
The base of all of our herbal bath teas is a combination of organic lavender flowers, organic chamomile blossoms, organic calendula petals, and organic rose petals/buds.
The organic herbs were chosen for their healing properties. The chamomile and calendula are for cleansing and softening the skin; the lavender helps calm the nerves; and the rose petals soothe dry and sensitive skin. As the herbs provide nutrients for the body, our various essential oil combinations provide healing to the mind.
One of my favorite essential oil combinations is in our Tranquility
blend. It is designed to relax, calm, stabilize and balance. This is
another wonderful oil for your evening bath ritual.
